Managing publications for production

As a senior manager responsible for getting publications out the door, you don’t need to know about picas, points or offset margins. You will benefit from a basic understanding of the processes required to produce print and electronic publications.

Understanding the basic work flow processes helps you as a manager make more informed decisions about staff resources, budgets, deadlines and procurement of specialist services.

The workshop provides an overview of these processes and work flows from a management perspective and offers valuable guidelines on copyright issues and working with external editors, photographers, graphic designers, printers and other media specialists and consultants.
