Workshops for writers

For managers

Managing publications for production

Senior managers responsible for publications don’t need to know about picas, points or offset margins. They do benefit from a basic understanding of the processes required to produce print and electronic publications. Understanding the basic work flow processes helps managers make more informed decisions about staff resources, budgets, deadlines and procurement of specialist services. The workshop provides an overview of these processes and work flows from a management perspective and offers valuable guidelines on copyright issues and working with external editors, photographers, graphic designers, printers and other media specialists and consultants.
